Guided by a surgeon’s hands, the robotic arms of the da Vinci Surgical System® allow WVU Medicine providers to perform major surgery through tiny incisions with pinpoint accuracy. The 3D imaging provided by robotic-assisted surgical technology gives our surgeons a highly magnified view of the treatment area. Patients benefit from robotic-assisted surgery with fewer and smaller incisions, less pain, and a faster recovery.
