The Harpers Ferry Family Medicine Center began in 1982 in a small restored Civil War-era building. Since that time, the program has grown into a large, thriving rural teaching and healthcare center housed in a 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that currently accommodates more than 30,000 patient visits per year.

The team includes full- and part-time family medicine and pediatric faculty physicians, resident physicians, a physician assistant, a nurse practitioner, a clinical pharmacist, and nursing staff.
