WVU Medicine hospitals and facilities have special visitation guidelines in place to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus COVID-19. Stay up-to-date on the latest WVU Medicine system visitor policies.
General Visiting Hours: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. unless otherwise noted. No more than two visitors per patient are permitted at any one time. Children are permitted only when accompanied by a parent or guardian and should never be left unattended. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Special Care Unit or Step Down Unit unless prior arrangements have been made with the nursing supervisor.
Departments may have special conditions surrounding the visiting hours that will be posted on each floor:
Medical/Surgical (2nd Floor): 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parents may visit at any time.
Step Down Unit (3rd Floor): 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Special Care Unit (3rd Floor): Only immediate family are permitted to see SCU patients.
Skilled Nursing Unit (5th Floor): 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
