About TLSS
Translational Laboratory Shared Services (TLSS) is the bench-science counterpart to BioTRAC. Once a specimen exists, TLSS is where it gets imaged, modeled, screened, and analyzed using confocal microscopy, PDO lines, cell biology assays, and in vivo PET/MRI.
TLSS also supports custom PDO line establishment for a user’s specific cancer type, coordinated with BioTRAC, and billed only after successfully established.
Bioinformatics and omics support is built in so that staff can take imaging or assay output through QC, analysis, and reporting.
The Translational Laboratory Support Services (TLSS) Core provides investigators with advanced technologies, technical expertise, and collaborative support to accelerate translational research. Our mission is to bridge laboratory discoveries with clinically relevant applications by offering integrated imaging, cell biology, organoid, bioinformatics, and preclinical imaging services.
PET/MRI Facility
The PET/MRI facility offers either separate Positron Emission Tomography (PET) or 7T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning, or combined PET/MRI scanning. Currently, the only radiotracer available is the glucose analog fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG). Radiotracers can be ordered through the facility. At this time, the system is only operated by facility personnel.
