Through regional collaborations, education campaigns, and community partnerships, we aim to bring hope, care, and prevention to every corner of the Mountain State.

The Mountains of Hope Cancer Coalition is dedicated to the prevention and early detection of cancer and improving the quality of life of West Virginians affected by cancer. The coalition includes more than 200 healthcare professionals, cancer survivors, and community advocates who help provide resources, support groups, financial assistance, and transportation for West Virginians affected by cancer.

WVU Cancer Institute Cancer Prevention and Control is one of four founding members of the Mountains of Hope Cancer Coalition in partnership with the American Cancer Society, West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program, and West Virginia Comprehensive Cancer Program.
