Laboratory Services
The Wetzel County Hospital laboratory provides high-quality, cost-effective patient care with a full menu of laboratory testing using state-of-the-art equipment. We provide lab services 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency and inpatient services, and outpatient laboratory hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday – Friday, and 7:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday – Sunday.

The Wetzel County Hospital laboratory is led by a board-certified clinical pathology physician, and our lab technicians, who are certified in medical technology and phlebotomy, practice safety and infection control policies and procedures to the full extent.
Our facility meets federal regulatory standards through the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, and our laboratory is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
