Learn MoreUnited Hospital Center offers a certificate program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography for individuals who are interested in pursuing training in this field. UHC Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is designed as an advanced discipline of study for graduates of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology. UHC Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is 18 months in length beginning each year in July. The program incorporates clinical and didactic experiences to prepare individuals for professional practice in abdomen, vascular, obstetric, and gynecologic sonography.
The Vascular, Obstetric/Gynecology, Abdomen and Extended DMS Programs at United Hospital Center are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
