Primary Family Care Clinic

The Primary Family Care Clinic at Jackson General Hospital provides convenient, high-quality care for the whole family’s routine medical needs. Always accepting new patients and same day sick visits are available for established patients of the clinic.  We are here for your short-term illness and chronic disease issues, and to be a healthcare partner to help you stay well and reach your health goals.

Always accepting new patients, the Primary Family Care Clinic is open to adult and pediatric patients who schedule appointments in advance. We encourage you to become a patient before you need us. Same-day sick visits are available for established patients of the clinic. Our clinic offers access to a variety of services close to home by providers you know and trust.

Our Primary Family Care Clinic provides vaccines and immunizations, and we treat patients for a wide range of routine medical issues, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Asthma and COPD
  • Cold, flu, sore throat, earaches, fever, and sinus infections
  • Cuts and wounds
  • Diabetes management
  • Diarrhea and nausea
  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure (hypertension)
  • High cholesterol
  • Migraines
  • Rashes and dermatologic conditions
  • Sprains, strains, and fractures
  • Upper respiratory conditions
  • Urinary tract infections

Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals are also provided.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance, so your appointment time may be given to another patient in need of care.

For prescription and refill requests, please call our office during normal business hours. Your prescription will be sent to your pharmacy of choice. Please allow 72 hours to process your request.

Morad-Hughes Health Center

The Morad-Hughes Health Center at Jackson General Hospital provides accessible primary care for the people of Jackson County and the surrounding areas.  Located on the first floor, near the Emergency Department, our doctors, pediatricians, physician assistants, and certified family nurse practitioners treat patients of all ages, from newborn to seniors.

Our Morad-Hughes Health Center provides vaccines and immunizations, as well as the following:

  • Adult wellness visits (checkups)
  • Basic lab testing
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals
  • Health screenings
  • Patient education
  • Pediatrics
  • Podiatry
  • Pre-employment physicals
  • Same-day sick visits for established patients
  • Sports physicals
  • Urine drug screenings
  • Well-child visits
  • Women’s annual exams

Jackson Premier Health at Jackson General Hospital not only provides high-quality primary care services but also offers mental health, chiropractic, interventional pain, women’s health and allergy services.

Located on the campus of Jackson General Hospital, Jackson Premier Health provides vaccines and immunizations, as well as the following:
