Wi-Fi
Computers, tablets, and smartphones with wireless capability can connect to the internet with FriendsConnect, a free, wireless service provided by Friends of WVU Hospitals. If you have trouble with your internet connection, please call the WVU Medicine Help Desk at 304-598-4357. This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Banking/ATMs
Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s) are located on the first floor at the North Tower entrance and on the ground floor of the South Tower entrance, just outside the Cafeteria.
Dining and Vending
All meals are prepared by CCMC’s Food and Nutrition Services Department. A food service Hostess/Host will visit you daily to assist with your meal selections and to answer any questions you have regarding food service. Trays for visitors are available upon request. (A fee is charged for this service.)
The Cafeteria is located on the ground floor of the South Tower. Snack and soda machines are located on the first
floor of the North Tower entrance. The vending area is open 24-hours a day.

In-Room Services
Flower Delivery
Flower arrangements are available for purchase in the Gift Shop or may be delivered by local florists.Flower deliveries are made directly to your room by hospital staff. In accordance with hospital policy, however, patients in Critical Care are not permitted to have live floral arrangements.
Mail Delivery
Hospital volunteers deliver mail to the nursing units Monday through Friday. Parcels and special delivery items are delivered as they arrive. Following your discharge, any mail received will be forwarded to your home unless it is not addressed with your proper name—one that the hospital has on record. In this case, the mail will be returned to sender. If duringyour stay you request to be made a confidential patient, mail will not be forwarded but returned to sender (if address is known).
Newspapers
Parkersburg local newspaper is delivered to our patients free of charge Monday through Saturday with their breakfast tray. Sunday papers may be purchased from the newspaper representative. Local newspapers may also be purchased at the North Tower information desk. Other papers are available via vending machines.
Chaplaincy Services and Spiritual Care
WVU Medicine offers a full range of pastoral care and spiritual care support services for patients and their family members, regardless of faith group or belief. Chaplains are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Chaplains can also help by contacting spiritual and religious leaders in the community for patients and family members. If you or a family member wishes to access Spiritual Care Department services, please tell the nursing staff. The hospital chapel is located on the first floor of the South Tower.
Who We Are:
Chaplains are professional spiritual care providers uniquely trained to provide spiritual support in the clinical setting. Chaplains do not represent a particular faith group, denomination or any spiritual group. Spiritual care providers employed by WVU Medicine Camden Clark deliver spiritual care and support to all people regardless of race, culture, ancestry, gender, sex, sexual orientation, sexual identity, gender identity and expression, socioeconomic status, language, national origin, religious affiliation, spiritual practice, mental and physical disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. All full time Staff Chaplains have received specialized clinical training in the provision of spiritual care, by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and are Board Certified as Professional Chaplains or in the process with one of the professional chaplain certification agencies.
Availability (What we do):
Our Spiritual Care Team provides 24/7 hospital coverage. We respond to Adult Medical Codes, Traumas, STEMI, comfort care/end of life events, deaths, spiritual care consults and referrals, spiritual and emotional support, family support and waiting management, spiritual counseling, staff support, ethics consultation, contact area clergy and faith leaders when requested by patients and families, and serve on hospital and system committees. Eucharist ministers from area Catholic parishes provide Catholic Communion several times throughout the week to Catholic patients. In addition, we provide religious/faith text of the major world religions to patients upon request. All are welcomed to visit our chapel located on first floor, North Tower. The chapel is available for everyone seeking a place for peaceful reflection, meditation and prayer. Our Spiritual Care Team also provide notarization of Advance Directives, Affidavit of Paternity, and Mental Hygiene Orders for patients.
