How do I apply for a position as a new graduate nurse?
New graduate nurses may apply for any open staff nurse position. Enrollment in nurse residency will occur automatically and does not require any additional or special applications.
What topics are discussed in this program?
Once a month, you will a complete a Transition to Professional Practice Seminar lead by the Transition Coordinators and content experts from across WVU Medicine Camden Clark. These seminars cover a monthly theme, and a wide range of topics, with content based on the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scopes and Standards of Practice, Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) Competencies, Institute of Medicine (IoM) Competencies, and Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) Focus Areas.
