Respiratory Therapy
Grant Memorial Hospital offers respiratory therapy services 24 hours a day, seven days a week for inpatients, long-term care residents, and emergencies. Respiratory Therapy offers overnight pulse oximetry, arterial blood gas (ABG), and pulmonary function testing (PFT) on an outpatient basis.
Our staff are licensed by the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care and credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Services
The Respiratory Therapy team performs a variety of services at Grant Memorial Hospital, including:
- Aerosol therapy
- Arterial blood gas (ABG) test
- Collection of sputum specimens
- CPAP/BIPAP therapies
- Overnight pulse oximetry
- Oxygen therapy
- Peak flow measurements
- Pulmonary function test (PFT)
- Secretion mobilization
- Ventilator management

To schedule an appointment for a pulmonary function test, please call 304-257-1026. Patients will need an order from a physician and will register for the test with the hospital.
