Wellness Programs
WVU employees can manage or improve their health by participating in any of the following programs:
Mindfulness Programs include weekly meditations and Mindful Steps series and are free for students, faculty, staff, and employees of WVU. For more information or to schedule a session for your department, please contact wellness specialist Anthony Danko.
Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® is a 15-week challenge that encourages participants to complete an average of one mile per day over 100 days through walking or other forms of movement that work best for them. The annual challenge runs from late-May through the end of August and includes a commemorative t-shirt participants can purchase at a nominal cost. Click here for more information.
Finding Wellness is a free eight-week program that is designed to help you improve your personal health. It is led by health professionals – including health coaches, dietitians, personal trainers, and physicians. Click here for more information.
