MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Members of the WVU Medicine Department of Otolaryngology attended the 2022 American Academy of Otolaryngology meeting September 10-14 in Philadelphia.
Eight faculty members and seven residents attended training courses, presented research, and served as presenters, moderators, and panelists.
“Meetings like these allow us to learn about the newest research and technologies and share our own research in the field,” Hassan Ramadan, M.D., chair of the Department of Otolaryngology, said. “We are proud to send our faculty and residents to events like this to ensure our patients receive the best possible care and share our expertise and new approaches to the variety of diseases we treat.”
Otolaryngologists, commonly known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, treat conditions of the head and neck medically and surgically. The WVU Medicine Department of Otolaryngology includes providers who treat obstructive sleep apnea, skull base and head and neck tumors, sinus and ear disease, and other conditions in adults and children.
