Claire Baniak, PsyD, joins WVU Medicine as a pediatric psychologist at the WVU Medicine Children’s Neurodevelopmental Center. She earned her degree at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at WVU.
Kendra Henline, PLPC, joins WVU Medicine as a clinical therapist at the Chestnut Ridge Center. She completed her training at WVU.
Tabitha Lindsay, PLPC, joins WVU Medicine as a clinical therapist at the Behavioral Medicine Westover location. She completed her training at WVU.

Shailendra Singh, MD, joins WVU Medicine as an advanced endoscopist/gastroenterologist at the Physician Office Center. He completed an advanced endoscopy, GI/hepatology fellowship at Allegheny Health Network. He was formerly in practice at Charleston Gastroenterology/Charleston Area Medical Center.

Samantha Wise, AGNP, joins the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute as a nurse practitioner in the critical care medicine stepdown unit at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was a registered nurse at the WVU Medicine Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and completed her training at Maryville University.

Utkarsh Kohli, MD, joins WVU Medicine Children’s as a pediatric cardiologist. He completed two fellowships, pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiac electrophysiology, at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Kohli completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He was formerly a pediatric electrophysiologist at the University of Chicago.
SURGERY
Sebastian Brooke, MD, joins WVU Medicine as a microsurgery and pediatric craniofacial surgeon at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He completed a microsurgical reconstructive fellowship at UPMC and a pediatric craniofacial surgery fellowship at Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Brooke is a former adjunct professor and microsurgery fellowship co-director at Baylor Scott & White, Texas A&M.

Ganga Prabhakar, MD, joins WVU Medicine as the surgical director of cardiac surgery with the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute at Wheeling Hospital. He formerly practiced at the Iowa Heart Center, MercyOne, in Des Moines. He practiced at WVU for seven years prior to that appointment and trained at WVU as well.
