Kesler named vice president of post-acute services

Kesler brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to WVU Medicine, most recently serving in leadership with Sentara Healthcare, an integrated delivery and finance system headquartered in Virginia. Prior to that, she worked at Medical Services of America, where she served as a regional administrator for more than six years. 

She has a proven track record in strategic expansion, operational turnarounds, regulatory compliance, and innovative care models, such as hospital at home and remote patient monitoring. Kesler is passionate about quality improvement, developing leaders, and aligning clinical excellence with financial sustainability.   

Kesler received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, followed by her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Western Governor’s University based in Millcreek, Utah.
