Dining and Vending

Nutrition Services
Our Nutrition Services department prepares daily meals for all patients, taking into consideration taste preferences, as well as nutritional requirements and restrictions.

Meals are selected from a daily menu featuring a variety of offerings. The menu selections from the daily menu are for the next day’s meals. Selective menus based on special diets prescribed by your doctor are also available.

Our dietitians are on hand to answer any questions you may have about food selection or to help make dietary adjustments. To contact a dietitian, call 724-430-5048.

Cafeteria
Breakfast is available from 7 – 10 am.
Lunch is available from 11 am – 4:30 pm. Salad bar and grab and go items are available from 11 am – 6 pm.
Dinner (limited menu) is available from 4:30 – 6 pm.

Garden Cafe
The Garden Cafe, located on the main floor, is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 6 am – 3 pm.

Vending Machines
Visitors may use the vending machines located on the main floor near the chapel, in the Emergency Department waiting area, and on the basement (B) level near the cafeteria.

Guest Trays
Patient visitors can order a guest tray from the cafeteria by calling extension 325048 from an internal phone. Trays cost $5 and must be paid in cash at time of delivery.

E-Cards

WVU Medicine provides free e-cards for current patients staying in the hospital. By filling out a brief online form, you can let a loved one know you're thinking of them with an e-card.

In-Room Services

At Uniontown Hospital, our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that is conducive to healing. Each patient room is private and equipped with television, telephone, bathroom, and seating for visitors.

Spiritual Care

The spiritual well-being of our patients and their families is an important part of the healing process. The chapel offers a unique place to reflect. Located in the main corridor next to the green elevators, the chapel is open 24 hours a day for visitors and patients of all faiths.

Patients and family members needing assistance outside of normal business hours can speak with patient care staff to arrange a pastoral visit.

Gift Shop

The gift shop, operated by Lori’s Gifts, is located on the main floor near the main lobby and offers a range of items, including snacks, flowers, balloons, various gifts, and more. Delivery to patients and staff is available. Some restrictions may apply.

Mail and Flowers

Mail and flowers are delivered directly to patient rooms. Any mail received after patients are discharged will be forwarded to their home.

If you have outgoing mail, simply give it to your nurse.
