Dining and Vending
- Café Pallotti
- Our cafeteria is located on the 1st floor of the main hospital and offers hot and cold food.
- There is a menu board posted at the entrance to the cafeteria.

- Saturday through Sunday: 8 am to 10 am
- Lunch: 11 am to 1:30 pm
- Dinner: 4:30 pm to 6 pm

- Vending machines are located down the hallway that leads to the ER, adjacent to the cafeteria.

Our information desk is located in the main lobby. You can also call our switchboard at 304-473-2000 to be directed to a specific department.
In Room Services
Your Hospital Room
Each room is equipped with a nurse-call system, telephone, television, and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) – at no extra charge.
Get Well Greetings/Mail
If the unit permits, cards, flowers, balloons, fruit baskets, etc., sent by family and friends will be delivered to the patient’s room.
Meals
Special diets are ordered for patients based on their plan of care to help them recover quickly. Additional options are also available through the Dietary Hostess. This food is for patients only. Visitors can purchase hot and cold food from Café Pallotti.
Spiritual Care
The Department of Pastoral Care provides religious and spiritual support for patients and families. The pastoral care staff can provide a listening ear, prayer support, literature, and other spiritual resources. Chaplains can help connect patients to what is meaningful for them.
Catholic Masses take place in the chapel at 7:30 am Monday and Friday (with the exception of the first Friday of the month). The Chapel is available to everyone regardless of religion. It is a place for anyone in need of a quiet, relaxing atmosphere for reflection.
The Chapel is located on the first floor.
Wi-Fi
Computers, tablets, and smartphones with wireless capability can connect to the internet with FriendsConnect, a free, wireless service provided by Friends of WVU Hospitals. If you have trouble with your internet connection, please call the WVU Medicine Help Desk at 304-598-4357. This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
