Our Mission
Established in 1994, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation supports the healing ministry of WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital by:
- Securing charitable support
- Building relationships with community and business leaders
- Advocating for the Hospital’s mission
Rooted in the traditions of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters, our values include:

Since 1921, St. Joseph’s Hospital has provided high-quality care to all—regardless of ability to pay. Each year, nearly 7,000 patients receive care they otherwise could not afford, thanks to generous donations from our community.
