Our Mission

Established in 1994, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation supports the healing ministry of WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital by:

  • Securing charitable support
  • Building relationships with community and business leaders
  • Advocating for the Hospital’s mission

Since 1921, St. Joseph’s Hospital has provided high-quality care to all—regardless of ability to pay. Each year, nearly 7,000 patients receive care they otherwise could not afford, thanks to generous donations from our community.
