A Special Delivery

While doing regular parking lot rounds at the WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center, Security Officer Chad Leather heard a woman screaming. She was in labor and the baby was coming quickly! Chad rushed into action and made sure even a parking lot delivery was safe.

Working with the Chief Nursing Officer Samantha Richards and the hospital response team, Chad helped get mom and baby safely transported into the hospital. There, the labor and delivery team were ready to get mom and baby the care they needed.
