Pediatric Rapid Care – Open Daily
The Southgate Pediatric Rapid Care location is open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. every day, and treats common illnesses like strep throat, ear infections, minor fractures, and more. Our board-certified pediatricians provide fast, expert care—no appointment needed.

Meet Dr. Meeks
Leigh Anna Meeks, MD received her Doctorate of Medicine from Marshall University School of Medicine, where she continued on to complete her residency. Dr. Meeks has practiced medicine in Gallipolis, OH, Lexington, NC, and Marion, NC where she served as Medical Director of the McDowell County Student Health Advisory Committee. She has served as a locum pediatric hospitalist in Rutherfordton, NC, and Bluefield, VA. Dr. Meeks practiced with two pediatric clinics in Lewisburg, WV before joining Greenbrier Valley Medical Center as a Pediatric Hospitalist. Before joining Camden Clark, Dr. Meeks was an outpatient pediatrician at the Rainbow Kids Clinic in Clarksville, TN.
Meet Dr. Martin
Shelly Martin, MD is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics. She is adept at patient assessment, multidisciplinary care coordination, case analysis, and expert testimony regarding suspected child maltreatment cases. With an extensive teaching and presentation background, Dr. Martin contributes to advancing pediatric care WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. We are now offering subspecialty referrals for child abuse evaluations. Feel free to contact her to refer a patient or for any questions regarding child maltreatment.
Dr. Martin received her Doctor of Medicine from Marshall University School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consotium and completed her Forensic Pediatrics Fellowship at Brown University/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Martin served as a child abuse pediatrician at San Antonio Military Medical Center/Brook Army Medical Center and comes to Camden Clark from Charleston Area Medical Center, Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Charleston, WV, where she served as Medical Consultant for the hospital-based Child Advocacy Center, serving southern WV to include training and advocacy.
