56 Employees Volunteer at Four Sites in Parkersburg, Marietta and Belpre

WVU Medicine CCMC employees made a difference by volunteering in Parkersburg, Marietta and Belpre June 21 for the United Way’s Annual Day of Action. Fifty-six CCMC employees worked on four projects at SW Resources in Parkersburg, the O’Neill Center and at the Betsey Mills Club in Marietta, and at Belpre Elementary School.

  • SW Resources, 1007 Mary Street, Parkersburg, WV – The project team spent hours working on landscaping the entire property.

  • The O’Neill Center, 333 Fourth Street, Marietta, OH – This project team washed and waxed program vans used there.

  • The Betsey Mills Club, 300 4th Street, Marietta, OH – This project team spent hours sorting clothing for their professional women’s closet program and organizing storage areas.

  • Belpre Elementary School, 2000 Rockland Ave, Belpre, OH - This team worked on the school’s landscaping and beautification project.

In addition to contributing our efforts during the annual Day of Action, WVU Medicine CCMC and the United Way Alliance of MOV is a corporate sponsor in which our employees contribute financially to help support the many important programs throughout our community.
