Patient Care Technician
Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) functions as a clinical support partner to provide direct and indirect patient care activities as directed by the staff nurse. The PCT performs various basic care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal, physical and comfort needs of patients. The PCT may be required to provide services on several different nursing floors during a scheduled shift.
