During Your Visit

There is an ATM located in the cafeteria at Thomas Orthopedic Hospital.

The cafeteria on our Saint Francis campus is open 7 – 10 am for breakfast and 11 am – 3 pm for lunch Monday – Friday and closed on the weekends.

Cafes

Saint Francis Coffee Shop serves Starbucks brand coffee and treats from Charleston Bread Company. Open Monday – Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm.

Vending machines are located throughout Thomas Orthopedic Hospital.

An ambassador service is located at the Information Desk, which is located at the main entrance of Thomas Orthopedic Hospital.  An ambassador can also be reached for directions or questions by calling 304-766-5408 at Thomas Orthopedic Hospital.

All patient rooms include a TV and telephone. Many rooms offer smart TVs, which allow patients and visitors to log in to their streaming applications.

Thomas Orthopedic Hospital offers a range of spiritual care support services for patients and their family members during hospitalization. Our interfaith chaplains are available to support you and your family during what can be an anxious and uncertain time.

Our chaplains offer a compassionate presence and support in ways that are meaningful to you, which may include:

• Connecting patients and families to spiritual resources
• Giving support during decision-making
• Listening to your story
• Offering grief support
• Providing religious services or rituals
• Responding to emergency or crisis situations
• Visiting with patients and family

Thomas Orthopedic Hospital’s Chapel is located on the entire 5th floor of the East building; everyone is welcome. 

Computers, tablets, and smartphones with wireless capability can connect to the internet with FriendsConnect, a free, wireless service provided by Friends of WVU Hospitals. If you have trouble with your internet connection, please call the WVU Medicine Help Desk at 304-598-4357. This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
