What to Bring

When you are to be admitted to Reynolds Memorial Hospital, the following are some personal items you should bring with you:

  • Personal toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.
  • Reading materials, phone charger, bath robe, etc.
  • List of current medications and supplements, including dose and frequency
  • A copy of your advanced directives, if you have one

Parking

The primary parking lot is located directly in front of the hospital, accessible from State Route 250 (Wheeling Avenue). This lot is ideal for patients visiting the Emergency Department, Outpatient Services, Imaging, or the Main Lobby. Follow signage from Route 250 to the main hospital entrance. Two additional parking lots are now available on 9th Street, located just next to the hospital campus

Clear directional signs are posted along 9th Street and Wheeling Avenue to help guide you to the appropriate lot.

Checking In

Checking in for services at Reynolds Memorial Hospital is a quick and simple process. Depending on what you are visiting the hospital for, you can complete your check in process at the following locations:

Non-surgical outpatient services like lab, xray, MRI, etc.

  • Please check in with the registration desks inside the main entrance of the hospital

Outpatient Surgical Services and Pre-Op Visits

  • Please check in at the outpatient surgery pre-op waiting area located on the 9th Street side of the building

Emergency Department

  • The ED entrance is located on the 8th Street side of the building

Clinical Visits

  • Check in for clinical visits will be done at your specific physician’s office

Cancer Center

  • Please check in with the cancer center at 421 9th Street

Our Policies

Reynolds Memorial Hospital is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is prohibited both indoors and outdoors, including all clinic buildings and surrounding areas (sidewalks and parking lots). WVU Medicine has a Zero-Tolerance policy when it comes to aggressive behavior, including physical assault, verbal assault (including aggressive and sexual language), threats, and/or failure to comply with instructions. Administration will support staff by maintaining a safe environment for patient care. Incidents may result in search of belongings, removal from facility, and prosecution.
