Visitation Guidelines

General visiting hours are 8:00 am until 7:30 pm unless otherwise designated or special circumstances exist.
All visitors must check in at the volunteer/registration desk to receive a visitor pass for the area they are going to.

Visitors are asked to respect the privacy and comfort of all patients and observe the following:

  • Be free from illness such as colds / flu
  • Observe the Smoking / Tobacco policy
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult while visiting
  • Observe the cell phone policy

Special Visiting Hours:
During flu season, special visiting hours may be implemented. Throughout this time, visitors are reminded, if they are displaying symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headaches, chills, or fatigue to avoid visiting patients.
Visitors will be limited to two per patient at any given time. All visitors are encouraged to wash their hands frequently. Special circumstances may occasionally occur when the rules may be waived.

Medical/Surgical Unit

Two (2) visitors 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM anytime.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pediatric patients are permitted to have two (2) visitors such as parents, legal guardian, or grandparents who may stay with the patient.  No siblings are allowed to stay with the patient.

Intensive Care Unit

Two (2) visitors 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM anytime.   Visitors may be limited by staff due to patient condition or procedures.

Emergency Department

One (1) adult visitor per patient. Pediatric patients may have 2 visitors including parents or legal guardians.

Surgical Services

One (1) visitor per patient, no children under age 12.  Pediatric patients under the age of 18 can have both parents, legal guardian with them.

End-of-Life Visitation

End-of-life situations in all areas will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the specific circumstances.
