Our pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and support staff are specially trained to care for hospitalized children and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As part of WVU Medicine and in partnership with WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s, our patients have access to the expertise of a nationally recognized children’s hospital while staying close to home in the Mid-Ohio Valley. If a child needs additional specialized services, we work closely with WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s to ensure seamless coordination of care.

How Pediatric Hospitalists Support Your Child’s Care
If your child’s pediatrician is on staff at WVU Medicine Camden Clark, they may continue providing care during hospitalization. If not, or if they are unavailable, our pediatric hospitalists will lead your child’s inpatient care. Pediatric hospitalists are board-certified pediatricians who provide hospital-based care 24/7 and coordinate with your child’s primary care provider and any specialists to ensure seamless follow-up after discharge.
