Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory therapists can help treat breathing problems in patients of all ages. Illnesses affecting lung function can be acute or chronic. Our inpatient respiratory therapy staff administers treatment for our patients admitted to our hospital, and outpatient therapy services are available to help improve and manage pulmonary conditions at home.

Outpatient respiratory therapy services include:

• Arterial Blood Gases (ABG)
• Electrocardiogram (EKG)
• Electroencephalogram
• Holter monitors (3, 7, and 14 day monitors)
• Over night sleep studies
• Pulmonary function testing ( for disability and weight loss surgery and Asthma)
• Six minute walk test
• Stress testing
