Jonathan Dale, MDJonathan Dale, MD
Emergency Care Provider, Rural Health Clinic
Dr. Dale graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1991 and also passed the CPA Exam in 1991. In 1998, he graduated from Loma Linda University with a doctor of medicine, completed his residency and a fellowship at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Dale is certified with the American Board of Family Medicine, and he is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Family Practice.

Benjamin Hensley, DOBenjamin Hensley, DO
Surgeon
From Huntington, West Virginia, Dr. Hensley graduated from Marshall University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and graduated in 2004 from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a doctor of osteopathic medicine. While at WVSOM, Dr. Hensley was a member of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association. He completed a traditional rotating internship at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia, and a general surgery residency at SUMMA Health Systems at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Dr. Hensley has been with SRMC since 2009.

David Meriwether, MDDavid Meriwether, MD

Born in Washington, DC, Dr. Meriwether graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, with a bachelor’s degree in biology, He earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1980. Having completed his internship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, he is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the West Virginia State Medical Association, American Medical Association, Mid-Atlantic Section of the American Urologic Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the WV Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Moore received his doctorate degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he also completed an internship in internal medicine and residency training in ophthalmology.

Stanley Morris, MDStanley Morris, MD

Graduating from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1998, Dr. Morris completed the WVU Department of Family Medicine Residency Program in 2001. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Morris has been with SRMC since 2005 and has served as the emergency room director since 2013.

Bandy Mullins, MDBandy Mullins, MD

A Nicholas County native, Dr. Mullins graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1998, and completed his doctor of medicine in 2002, both at West Virginia University. While at WVU, Dr. Mullins received the surgery clerkship honors, was an honor’s program graduate, and a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon Math Honor Society. He completed a general surgery residency at WVU, Charleston Division, in 2007. Certified by the American Board of Surgery, he is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, West Virginia Medical Association, and Raleigh County Medical Society. Dr. Mullins began his career with SRMC in 2008 and has served as chief of staff since 2013.

Olawale Olatunji, MDOlawale Olatunji, MD
Cardiologist
Olawale Olatunji, MD, is a cardiologist at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute at Summersville Regional Medical Center. He completed his residency at the State University of New York at Brooklyn. He completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at SUNY-HSC, in Brooklyn. He also completed a cardiology fellowship at State University of New York Health Science in Brooklyn, with specialization in invasive and non-invasive procedures. Dr. Olatunji has practiced in Appalachia for the last 17 years, first in Kentucky, before moving to Beckley almost five years ago.

Jeffrey M. Rodebaugh, II, MDJeffrey M. Rodebaugh, II, MD

A native of Nicholas County, Dr. Rodebaugh graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2007. He completed his residency at Marshall University School of Medicine in June 2010 and began his career at SRMC  that same year. Dr. Rodebaugh has served as a primary care provider in our clinics and now works as a hospitalist while still serving our outpatients once a week in our Rural Health Clinic.

Michael E. Taylor, MDMichael E. Taylor, MD

Dr. Taylor graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1980 and completed his family medicine residency at United Hospital Center in 1984. He is board certified with the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, and the WV Chapter of American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Taylor has been practicing at our Summersville outpatient center since 2007. He and his family reside in Summersville.

Bradley Willis, MDBradley Willis, MD
Hospitalist, Rural Health Clinic
Born in Summersville, Dr. Willis graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2006, and began his career with SRMC in 2007. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Willis worked as a primary care provider in our Rural Health Clinic prior to becoming head of our hospitalist program.

Marvin J. Wurth, MDMarvin J. Wurth, MD
Rural Health Provider, Rural Health Clinic
Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Wurth graduated from American University in Washington, DC, in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and from George Washington University School of Medicine in 1984 with a doctor of medicine. Board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Wurth began his career at SRMC as an internist in 1987.

John Baughman, PAJohn Baughman, PA
Hospitalist, Rural Health Clinic
Not traveling far from his birthplace of Summersville, John earned his physician assistant master’s degree at Mountain State University in Beckley, West Virginia. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric life support. Before coming to SRMC in 2014 to work in the emergency department, John worked in a large trauma center gaining knowledge in trauma, critical, cardiac, and pulmonary care.

Kara Gillespie, PA-CKara Gillespie, PA-C
Hospitalist, Rural Health Clinic
Graduating from Alderson-Broaddus College with an associate of science degree in natural science, Kara did not stop there. She went on to earn her bachelor of science in physician assistant studies and became a certified physician assistant. In 2009, she earned her master of science in physician assistant studies. Kara has been with SRMC since 2013, working in the emergency department before accepting the hospitalist position.

Judy Spencer, PA-CJudy Spencer, PA-C

Graduating from Region IV School of Practical Nursing in 1984, Judy went on to Bluefield State College, where she earned her associate degree in nursing. In July 1999, she gained her bachelor of science as a physician assistant from the College of West Virginia in Beckley, West Virginia. Judy has been with our Rural Health Clinic since 2007.

Kelly Spencer, RNKelly Spencer, RN
Swing Bed Team
Kelly received her LPN degree at Raleigh County Vo-Tech in 1993 and worked as an LPN for 13 years prior to earning her RN. She earned her associate degree in nursing through Excelsior College in Albany, New York, in 2006.

Michelle SattlerMichelle Walton

A native of Nicholas County, Michelle received her BA in sociology and psychology from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1996. In 2001, she earned her master’s degree in social work from Radford University.
