WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals Appoints Dr. R. Todd DePond as Medical Director of Women’s Services

WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals is pleased to announce the appointment of R. Todd DePond, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. as the new Medical Director of Women’s Services. Dr. DePond brings extensive experience, compassionate care, and a dedication to advancing women’s health across southern West Virginia.

Dr. DePond earned both his undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees from West Virginia University in Morgantown. Most recently, he served at West Virginia University Physicians of Charleston and has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at WVU Charleston Division since 2007. 

Dr. DePond specializes in preventive women’s healthcare, minimally-invasive surgical procedures, reproductive health, and menopause.
