Explore mindfulness programs this fall for every level

Explore mindfulness at the pace that fits best this fall—whether you have a few minutes for a guided meditation, six weeks to build a consistent practice or several months to pursue deeper learning through the Mindfulness Ambassador Badge. WVU and WVU Medicine affiliates can choose from three flexible opportunities designed to support well-being, resilience and connection.

Weekly Virtual Meditations offer a simple way to pause and reset during the workweek. Join neuroscientist Julie Brefczynski-Lewis on Mondays from 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. or clinical therapist Laurel Faulkenberry on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 1:50 p.m. These brief virtual sessions are free.

Mindful Steps is a free six-week virtual series that provides practical mindfulness tools to support relaxation, resilience and everyday well-being. It is an ideal next step for participants who want to establish a more consistent practice.

The Mindfulness Ambassador Badge offers a deeper, primarily online and self-paced learning experience for those interested in building skills to support others. The approximately 20-hour program includes a final in-person workshop and is available for a $100 registration fee.

Choose the opportunity that meets you where you are and take a meaningful step toward a healthier, more mindful fall season.
