WVU Hospitals advanced imaging grads join professional ranks
Trainees completed nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, MRI, and echocardiography programs
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Hospitals (WVUH) celebrated the accomplishments of students from its advanced imaging and therapeutic programs during a commencement ceremony held June 12.
The programs’ Class of 2026 completed accredited programs in nuclear medicine technology, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and echocardiography, preparing them for specialized roles in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
“These 14 graduates have demonstrated exceptional dedication and clinical competency throughout their training,” Jay Morris, MA, R.T.(R)(CV), education manager, said. “They leave us as highly skilled professionals ready to make an immediate and lasting impact on patient care across our region. We are immensely proud of each and every one of them.”

WVU Medicine’s Imaging Science Education Programs combine classroom instruction with clinical training at WVU Medicine facilities, preparing students for careers in medical imaging and therapeutic sciences.
