Lighting the Way to Honor and Memorialize Friends in our Community

The Camden Clark Foundation’s annual “Lighting the Way” Luminary Dedication is an evening of remembrances and a way of honoring or remembering loved ones this time of year. Each candle has been sponsored in honor or memory of many individuals throughout the community.

This year’s event will take place Thursday, December 5 at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in the South Tower. The prelude to the evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with holiday musical selections. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. with the annual tree lighting ceremony, vocals from The Smoot Theatre Women’s Ensemble under the direction of Cathy Martin and special music by Reinnie Leavitt, Director of Cancer Services and Dock Cutlip, Director of Bio Medical Engineering. The luminary dedication and closing remarks will be presented by members of the Camden Clark Foundation Board of Directors and Kim Couch, Executive Director of the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Foundation. Light refreshments will be served.

This year’s Beacon Sponsors include: Comfort Keepers, Leavitt Funeral Services, Morris Sales Hospital Shoppe Inc. and Astorg Auto Group.
