WVU MEDICINE CAMDEN CLARK FOUNDATION TO HOST 8th ANNUAL PINK BY POOLSIDE FOR BREAST CANCER PREVENTION

Parkersburg, WV (September 13, 2022) In advance of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The 8th Annual Camden Clark Foundation Pink by Poolside will take place on Friday, September 16th at the Parkersburg Country Club from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. The event is part of Camden Clark Foundation’s ongoing awareness of fundraising initiatives for The Pink Mammogram Fund which provides free mammograms, diagnostics and biopsies to area residents who are uninsured and underinsured.

100% of the event’s proceeds will go towards providing free mammograms to those community members who may be uninsured or underinsured. Over the past 12 years the Camden Clark Foundation has enabled over 2,000 free mammograms and hundreds of diagnostic tests be provided to Mid-Ohio Valley residents.

Friday’s event will feature cuisine from seven local caterers; each offering a variety of small bites and desserts to be enjoyed during the event. The evening will also include the “Club Pink” dance floor and a “Wine Pull” fundraiser. Sponsorships are available and individual tickets are available for $100 each. Visit www.camdenclarkfoundation.org for details. It is encouraged that everyone wear something PINK to join in the fun and bring awareness to support efforts in the progress we are making together to defeat breast cancer.
