St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon honors two value inspired persons

BUCKHANNON, WV – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon recently honored two staff members as their Valued Inspired Person (VIP), Kimberly Ice and Reverend Barry Moll.

Kimberly Ice works as a registration specialist in the Emergency Department. Her co-workers say she is always compassionate and friendly with all patients, visitors, and staff she meets. She is the face of the hospital when patients arrive at the Emergency Department at night, giving patients warm blankets and water when they ask and sharing their concerns with the nursing staff. Her coworkers say they know it will be a great night when they work with Kim because she goes above and beyond by helping to clean rooms, make beds, and run samples to the lab. They say she is friendly, helpful, trustworthy, and compassionate.

Reverend Barry Moll is the Hospital Chaplain and an associate of Pastoral Care. His co-workers say he is caring and compassionate, bringing a positive attitude and contagious zest for life to his work. He cares deeply about the patients, staff, and residents of St. Joseph's Hospital, adjusting his schedule to fit their needs. He is a devout Christian who served in West Virginia as a pastor for many years. Upon retiring, he moved to Buckhannon and we are honored to have such a wonderful individual to bless our hospital.
