BUCKHANNON, WV - Mike Ross, St. Joseph’s Foundation board member and President of Mike Ross, Inc. and Ross and Wharton Gas Company, recently presented a generous donation to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation’s “Every Heartbeat Matters” campaign. This campaign raises funds for cardiac diagnostic equipment and the cardiac rehabilitation program.
West Virginia has the highest rate of heart disease in the nation and this campaign is addressing that issue.
“We greatly appreciate Mr. Ross’s ongoing dedication to St. Joseph’s Hospital and its Foundation,” said Skip Gjolberg, St. Joseph’s Hospital president. “His generous donation to our hospital helps to ensure that we can provide the best healthcare to our community.”
Donors to the campaign will receive recognition throughout the campaign. Their names will be engraved on a plaque to be placed in St. Joseph’s Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Center and they will be honored at a special end-of-the-year reception.
