Public transportation to WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital available

GLEN DALE, W.VA. – The Ohio Valley Regional Transit Authority (OVRTA) and Eastern Ohio Regional Transit Authority (EORTA) began a trial run to WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital in January. The trial will continue through July 3.

Buses run Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cash, tokens, or bus passes can be used for the service.
OVRTA and EORTA are also started a trial van service from 6-9 a.m. and from 6-9 p.m. to take people to and from their jobs where there is no bus service available. 

Interested individuals must first register for this service and can then schedule their ride 48 hours in advance and up to two weeks in advance. The cost per ride is $2.60. Only cash or van tokens will be accepted for this service. No bus passes will be accepted. This trial service will run until July 3.

Tokens can be purchased at the OVRTA and EORTA offices or on the Token Transit app. Multiple months of bus passes can be purchased through the app. Annual bus passes can be purchased at the OVRTA and EORTA offices.
