New providers join WVU Medicine

The following providers joined WVU Medicine in May:

Morgantown, West Virginia

ANESTHESIOLOGY

Jessica Varga, DO, is a cardiovascular anesthesiologist, formerly with Hackensack University Medical Center. She completed adult cardiovascular anesthesiology fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and anesthesiology residency at Temple.

Sarah Kennedy, FNP, is in the pre-admission testing unit. She was a critical care registered nurse at Mon General and earned her nursing degree at WVU.

Chelsi Greco, FNP-C, is in the pre-admission testing unit. She has been a nurse at WVU Hospitals and is a graduate of WVU.

BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE AND PSYCHIATRY

Toni DiChiacchio, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP, is a certified family nurse practitioner with the Comprehensive Opioid Addiction Treatment service at Chestnut Ridge Center. She is a former associate dean in the WVU School of Nursing.

MEDICINE

Joseph Verbos, NP, is a nurse practitioner on the hospitalist service. He is a graduate of Carlow University and was a registered nurse at UPMC.

Christinea Marino, AGPCNP, is an oncology nurse. She graduated from the University of Miami with Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification and was previously a nurse at Mon General.

PATHOLOGY

Aaron Gleckman, MD, is a neuropathologist. He was formerly an anatomic pathologist and neuropathologist consultant at Pathology Consultants/Prisma Health System.

RADIATION ONCOLOGY

Muhammad Mohsin Fareed, MD, is a radiation oncologist at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He completed advanced radiation oncology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and was a clinical fellow at Dana-Farber/Brigham & Women’s Cancer Center in Boston. He trained and practiced in Pakistan, as well.

Fairmont, West Virginia

BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Gary Ammons, LPC, is a clinical therapist at Fairmont Gateway Clinic. He was the lead therapist at United Hospital Center.

COMMUNITY PRACTICE

Kaitlin Earle, FNP, is a nurse practitioner at Fairmont Gateway Clinic. She graduated from WVU and was an ICU nurse at Mon Health.

Parkersburg, West Virginia

MEDICINE

Sabir Hussain, MD, is the medical director of hematology/oncology at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was formerly a consultant hematologist at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, which is affiliated with Johns Hopkins International. He completed fellowship at the State University of New York and Health Science Center at Brooklyn.

Weston, West Virginia

BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Kacci Ratliff, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor and assistant professor at William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital. Ratliff was a mental health therapist at Sharpe and recently obtained her LPC and is a clinical instructor. She obtained her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University.

McHenry, Maryland

COMMUNITY PRACTICE

Beth Boehme, PA-C, is on the hospitalist service at McHenry Urgent Care. She was formerly with Carillion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, and is a graduate of Jefferson College of Health Sciences.

Uniontown, Pennsylvania

OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

Ava Nickens, NP, is a former corporate care manager at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital. She was also a registered nurse at WVU Medicine Children’s.

Alexandrea Morrow, NP-C, is a former labor and delivery nurse at WVU Medicine Children's. She earned her family nurse practitioner degree at Carlow University.

Shelby Baker, PA-C, is a physician assistant. She previously practiced at Mon Health and Uniontown Hospital.

Waynesburg, Pennsylvania (acquisition)

Daniel Church, MD, is a pediatrician with the System Medical Group, formerly in private practice in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

Jennifer McCracken, FNP, is in the Department of Community Practice within the System Medical Group. She was previously employed with Med Express.
