MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Gamers of all ages can do what they do best and help WVU Children’s Hospital at Ruby Memorial on Saturday, Oct. 25, Extra Life’s National Game Day.

The grassroots gaming experience lets gamers register for free at www.Extra-Life.org, select their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, establish a fundraising goal, and seek donations from friends and family. National Game Day begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday and ends at 9 a.m. on Sunday. All kinds of games qualify for the marathon – from PS4, smartphone and Facebook games, board games, basketball, tabletop games, etc.

Since 2008, tens of thousands of participants have raised more than $8 million on behalf of this Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program. All secure donations made on behalf of Extra Life participants stay local to WVU Children’s Hospital to serve women and children across the region by providing state-of-the-art, family-centered care.
