MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Friends of WVU Hospitals will host its Eighth Annual Festival of Trees Nov. 11 and 12 at Stepping Stones at Mylan Park in Morgantown. All net proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit patient care and comfort initiatives at WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals.
Saturday’s festivities will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Sunday’s celebration will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will include gingerbread cookie decorating, ornament and reindeer food making, sand art, and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Monti Bear will also make an appearance, and there will be musical entertainment. Decorations and special gifts will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $50 for a family of four or $15 for individuals. Price includes entertainment, refreshments, and activities. Tickets can be purchased in advance at wvuhgift.com or by calling Pam Shriver at 304-598-6094, option 5. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
