PCH Opens Country Roads Cafe Pit Stop
Patients and employees at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital (PCH) now have a new dining option. The Country Roads Cafe Pit Stop opened today.
The Pit Stop kiosk is located in the lobby of North Tower (former Parkview Center) between the Atrium and the entrance to the Women’s Center.
Offering breakfast and lunch, the Pit Stop will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both hot and cold food will be available as well as grab and go items. Beverages include coffee, tea, bottled water and fountain drinks. The Pit Stop will officially begin serving customers on July 24.
“We are excited to open the Country Roads Cafe Pit Stop,” states PCH President and CEO Karen Bowling. “There was a need to have refreshments offered in this area of the hospital. Our goal is to always focus on the needs of our patients and staff. This café will support our patients, their families and our staff. We will have both breakfast and lunch options as well as an array of special smoothies and drinks.”
“Hundreds of individuals pass through this area each day. We’re happy to welcome the Pit Stop to our hospital and the new team members who are staffing it,” Bowling said.
The cafeteria at PCH was recently renamed the Country Roads Cafe at Princeton Community Hospital. This name was chosen by PCH employees and is a special nod to West Virginia and the hospital’s place within the WVU Medicine family. The Pit Stop is an extension of this new development.
