New Leadership Welcomed at the Behavioral Health Pavilion

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital announced the addition of John Nekic, MBA, to the executive director position of the Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias.

Nekic brings to the role more than 20 years of expertise in operational excellence and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives in behavioral health settings. His previous leadership positions have included chief operating officer, administrator, executive director, and privacy officer.

Nekic has extensive expertise in strategic planning, turnaround management, accreditation/licensing, utilization review, operations management, quality assurance/performance improvement, risk management and privacy compliance.

His experience spans a variety of behavioral health services, including inpatient, traditional outpatient, intensive outpatient programming, partial hospitalization, substance abuse/chemical dependency treatment, residential care, crisis stabilization, and transitional housing programs.

Nekic received his MBA from the University of Phoenix and bachelor’s in psychology from Cleveland State University.
