WVU Medicine Camden Clark earns national recognition across major clinical areas in 2025 Healthgrades Specialty Care Ratings

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center has recently achieved several national accolades for clinical excellence from Healthgrades, reflecting outstanding outcomes in six service areas.  

According to the latest research released by Healthgrades, these ratings place Camden Clark within the top hospitals nationally for specialty care in service lines including cardiovascular, orthopaedic, neuroscience, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and critical care. Recent distinctions achieved by Camden Clark include a ranking amongst America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Pulmonary Care for three consecutive years and 11 Five-Star ratings.  

In addition to the national accolades earned, Camden Clark was ranked first in the state of West Virgnia for Cardiology and Pulmonary Care in the 2025 Healthgrades Specialty Care ratings.

As part of its 2025 hospital assessment, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine the top performers in specialty care. By offering easy access to objective performance measures, Healthgrades helps consumers find and select a hospital that excels in providing the care they need.
