Our cafeteria is located on the lower level of the hospital and is open 7 days a week.
Vending machines are located in the ED waiting area and lower level.
The coffee shop is located in the lower level and open 7 days a week.
Gift Shop
The Gift Shop is located on the first floor and offers a variety of items including light snacks, specialty gift items, toiletries, and reading materials. Credit/Debit Cards are accepted.
Through the support of the Loar Auxiliary, the gift shop provides a valuable service through proceeds that benefit patients and guests of Garrett Regional Medical Center.
Your purchase at the Loar Gift Shop supports Garrett Regional Medical Center and the healthcare the hospital provides to the community. Proceeds have benefited a variety of care programs and have purchased several pieces of major medical equipment, directly enhancing GRMC patient care.

Our information desk is located on the first floor in the main lobby. For questions, visit our information desk or ask our admissions department.
In Room Services
Your room will be a clean and comfortable place for you and your visitors. If you have concerns regarding the cleanliness of your room or find that certain features of your room do not work properly, please let us know, so we can help.
- Telephone Service
Telephones are provided free of charge in patient rooms. Family and friends may call you from outside the hospital by dialing the phone number provided to you. You may also dial outside the hospital using the phone in your room. Cell phone usage may be restricted in some areas of the hospital. Please check before using your cell phone. - Television (TV)
Each hospital room is equipped with cable television. A list of available channels is available upon request. Your TV can be operated by using the control device located near your bed. For the deaf or hard of hearing, all TVs are equipped with closed caption capabilities. Please set your television volume at a comfortable hearing level so as not to disturb other patients. - Meals
Our dietary staff will come to your room to help you select your menu choices for meals. - How to Call for Assistance
Please use the call system in your room and a staff member will respond.
Spiritual Care
WVU Medicine – Garrett Regional Medical Center is glad to accommodate your need for pastoral care and other spiritual services. The Interfaith Prayer Room/Chapel is located on third floor.
Wi-Fi
Computers, tablets, and smartphones with wireless capability can connect to the internet with FriendsConnect, a free, wireless service provided by Friends of WVU Hospitals. If you have trouble with your internet connection, please call the WVU Medicine Help Desk at 304-598-4357. This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
