Joan Allman, D.O., finished her residency program at Charleston Area Medical Center in 1999 and currently practices at Cornerstone Health Care. Interests in dermatology and minor surgery prompted her to pursue wound care. She offers advanced therapies for hard to heal wounds and coordinates care with specialists. Dr. Allman is involved in the training of medical students and residents at Camden Clark Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine.

The Camden Clark Regional Wound and Hyperbaric Center is a partnership between Camden Clark Medical Center and Candescent Healing, a leading provider in limb preservation, advanced wound care, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
The clinic is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of physicians and nurses who have received specialized training in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and advanced wound care treatment. Specialties available include infectious disease, plastic and reconstructive surgery, vascular surgery, and internal medicine. Nurses, registered dietitians, and technicians are trained in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
