Restorative Yoga Classes Offered

CLASSES OFFERED:

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. Unwind into a restful night with a quiet yoga practice focused on deep breathing to calm your mind and release physical tension. The combination of breath and movement activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which helps counteract stress. Restorative yoga encourages relaxation around the eyes and additional soothing of the nervous system.

The Health and Wellness Center provides Restorative Yoga classes on the first Friday of every month at 10:15am with Patty and the last Wednesday of every month at 5:35pm with Missy.
