Emergency Department
The Barnesville Hospital Emergency Department provides acute care services for patients of all ages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Adult and pediatric patients are seen for any cardiac, respiratory, trauma, or general medicine issues. We aim to deliver quick, effective diagnosis and treatment or transport for all patients. No one will ever be turned away for treatment regardless of insurance status.
The emergency department includes eight treatment rooms and a private waiting room, bedside registration, and the latest patient monitoring and technology. Our board-certified physicians and highly-skilled nurses perform a medical evaluation and order any necessary lab or imaging testing to reach a diagnosis. We perform on-site lab and imaging testing, IV and respiratory therapy, invasive and non-invasive procedures, and provide infection control.
Emergency ground and air transport is provided. Please call 911 if you’re experiencing a medical emergency.
