The Jackson General Hospital laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, and we regularly update services and instrumentation to stay on the cutting edge of healthcare technology.
Jackson General Hospital’s laboratory staff is an integral part of the healthcare team, whose mission is to provide quality care for our patients in a timely and compassionate manner. We are committed to accurately performing and evaluating laboratory testing and using advanced technology to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Our laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission, and licensed and certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.

- Transfusion medicine

Monday-Friday: 7am-5pm
Saturday: 7-noon
Phlebotomy Services available outside of the hours listed above, however limited staffing may result in longer wait times.
Curbside Lab Service
For standard orders, we offer curb side lab service to keep you and your family safe.
Pre-register from home or call from your vehicle and our staff will come out to you. Standard lab orders will be taken in the spaces provided in front of Morad Hughes Health Center Specialty Services Office.
