Preparing for Your Visit
Whether you are coming to the WVU Eye Institute or any other WVU Medicine location, the resources below are designed to help you plan and prepare for your care.
Appointments
To help you prepare for your appointment, please bring the following, along with any other items requested by your provider:
- Device or paper for taking notes
- Doctor’s referral, if required
- Health insurance card
- Insurance authorization, if required
- List of questions
- List of your medications, including dosages, plus any allergy information
- Photo identification
- Recent test results related to your condition
Parking
Patients and visitors to the WVU Eye Institute may park in the patient/visitor parking lots located directly outside of the Eye Institute, adjacent to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Handicap-accessible parking is available close to the building entrance. Patient and visitor parking is free.
Bill Pay
We understand that healthcare billing can be confusing, and we’re here to help. It’s important to us that you understand your WVU Medicine bill. Some billing questions may be answered by our online resources.
