Through our partnership with Regional Eye Associates, we offer eye care to all ages and provide surgical services at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Ophthalmological surgical services offered at GRMC include cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and other surgical treatment procedures.
With funds raised by the Loar Auxiliary, GRMC offers the latest technology in cataract surgery. The equipment, Centurion® Vision System, combines multiple, intelligent technologies and key features to provide surgeons control and improved efficiency during the cataract surgical procedures. The technology will aid the surgeons in optimizing the overall cataract procedure process through greater pressure consistency and stability. This will also enhance the patient experience by helping to reduce procedure and recovery time.
