Integrative Pain Management at Garrett Regional Medical Center provides a comprehensive and compassionate approach to patients dealing with chronic pain. The holistic center uses a non-opioid approach to pain management, emphasizing patient participation in the creation of care plans that utilize clinical treatments along with services such as massage therapy and acupuncture. In addition, treatment includes a focus on exercise, proper diet, smoking cessation, and the patient’s mental health.

Edward Soriano, DO, serves as the clinic’s Medical Director. Dr. Soriano brings over 20 years of experience in the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain syndromes, with an emphasis on spine related disorders.

Under Dr. Soriano’s direction, the Integrative Pain Management center provides a range of interventional pain management procedures, including spinal injections and other treatments for numerous painful nerve and joint conditions.

Patients referred to Dr. Soriano who are currently prescribed opioids may need to undergo opioid tapering to minimize the use of these potent and sometimes dangerous drugs, and to provide the patient with alternative, healthier treatment options for their individual condition.

Patients must be referred by a physician. For more information, call the clinic at 301-533-4290.
